Providing emotional support, information and guidance to individuals who are caring for someone that is seriously ill, or disabled.

Newsletter

Monthly edition, "Caregiver Assistance News", provides Caregiver's with critical information and tips on self care for the Caregiver.

Alzheimer/Caregiver Support Group

Monthly luncheon, date announced in newsletter. Provides a comfortable forum for families and caregivers to discuss feelings and experiences and share information.

Equipment Loan

Medical and safety equipment for loan.

Respite Care

Homecare aide provided for the care recipient to enable the caregiver to be temporarily relieved from the caregiving responsibilities.

Hospice

Home visit, assessment then referral to Hospice of the North Country.

Annual Caregivers Conference

An annual event in November, Caregiver's Month. Education provided, sharing of experiences and networking among caregivers.
