Tribal Police Department Welcomes Patrolman Christopher Lazare

AKWESASNE - Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Patrolman Christopher Lazare, Jr., son of Michelle and Chris Lazare of Akwesasne, took his Oath on Enniska/February 1, 2017 from Tribal Clerk Betty Roundpoint. Surrounded by his family, friends, Tribal Council, Police Commission and fellow officers in the Community Building Lobby; Patrolman Lazare joined the Community Services Division of the 34-member department and became the newest police officer sworn to uphold the laws, customs and traditions of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe and the Community of Akwesasne.
