FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT
The Facilities Management Department consists of two branches, a Custodial branch and a Maintenance branch. Both of these departments are managed by a Facilities Manager who oversees the daily housekeeping, maintenance operations and projects of tribally-owned buildings.
The Custodial branch has 13 employees who are responsible for ensuring cleanliness of all Tribal facilities, offices and rooms which are utilized by Tribal staff, community members and visitors. Our custodial staff understands that a clean and well maintained facility is a reflection of the quality and services that are expected by those using these buildings.
The Maintenance branch has seven employees who are responsible for grounds keeping, snow plowing, preventive maintenance and repairs of tribally-owned buildings. The maintenance department operates on a work order system that allows for prioritizing responses and tracking of completed work. The maintenance department understands that well maintained buildings and grounds provide for a safe and enjoyable environment for staff of and visitors to Tribal buildings.
