JOHNSON O'MALLEY PROGRAM

The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe's Johnson O'Malley Program (JOM) offers direct and indirect educational services for Native American students in Head Start through grade twelve who meet the JOM Program eligibility guidelines.

The JOM Program staff work within the area schools and the community utilizing local resources to help meet the educational needs of our Native American students.

The JOM Program works with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, Indian Education Committee and Education Department, the Salmon River Central School, the Saint Regis Mohawk School, Title IX Program, the State University of New York at Potsdam's Science Technology Entrance Program and Potsdam-Akwesasne Talent Search Program, Clarkson University American Indian Science and Engineering Society and the St. Lawrence University Upward Bound Program.

The JOM Program has three components within its service to our Native American students: Corrective Studies, Education Enrichment and Physical Education. Each provides a variety of educational learning activities.
