BUSINESS OFFICE
The function of the Business Office is to plan, implement, direct, manage
and coordinate all third party billing and collection activities. Specific
activities include processing claims and pursuing collections, patient registration
functions, managing the Indian Health Services patient registration system,
and the responsibility of originating, maintaining and updating the
system. We provide a Patient Benefit Coordinator to assist patients in obtaining
eligibility for services and the updated maintenance of the registration
system for alternative resources. We also serve as advocate for Indian
Health Services patients in obtaining all available benefits from private
sector health providers and alternative resource agencies, e.g. State, Federal
and private insurance carriers.
