TRIBE DEVELOPS ETHICS ORDINANCE

AKWESASNE, NY— The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe has drafted an Ethics Ordinance which is available for a 30-day public comment period, beginning Wednesday, March 7, 2007. Copies of the ordinance are available in the lobby of the Tribal Community Building and at the Akwesasne Library. Copies of the document will be mailed to residents of Hogansburg. Additionally, the ordinance can be viewed on the Tribe’s website at: SRMT Ethics Ordinance . Comments can be directed to Dale White, St. Regis Mohawk Tribe Legal Counsel, offices located in the Tribal Community Building.
