TRIBE SEEKS VOLUNTEERS FOR
LAND & ESTATES COMMITTEE

AKWESASNE, NY – The St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Council is looking for community members to volunteer and serve on the Land and Estates Committee.  

The Committee is responsible for developing policies to address land disputes and is currently in the process of reviewing the 1995 Tribal Lands and Real-Estate Act.   

To be considered for the Lands and Estates Committee, individuals must be an enrolled member of the Tribe, at least 18 years of age, and be a resident on the U.S. portion of the reserve.

Interested community members are encouraged to submit their names to Diane McDonald, Tribal Council’s Executive Assistant at 518-358-2272 by December 30^th.
