Student Arrested After Altercation at Salmon River Central School

An eighteen year old student at the Salmon River Central School was arrested on March 1, 2012 and charged with assault in the second degree. Stuart Martin, who resides on McNeil Road, Hogansburg, was charged after luring another student, also eighteen, into a boy’s bathroom in the high school and allegedly knocked the victim to the floor, then repeatedly punched and kicked the student in the face and head.

The victim is identified as Adam Bomberry-Davis, also from Hogansburg. Mr. Bomberry sought medical attention and it was discovered that he received a fractured jaw as a result of the altercation, which occurred on February 29, 2012.

Stuart Martin turned himself into authorities and was arraigned before Moira Town Justice Durant. He was remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond bail. He is set to reappear at the Fort Covington Town Court at a later date.
