Tribal Police Arrest Three on Drug and Weapons Charges

On December 20, 2012, the Drug Investigation Unit of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police Department, in collaboration with US Border Patrol, New York State Troopers, and the Border Enforcement Security Task Force (BEST), investigated a drug trafficking operation that culminated in a traffic stop performed by US Border Patrol. The stop led to the arrest of three men from the New York City area. The three men allegedly possessed around six ounces of cocaine and six ounces of heroin. They also allegedly possessed around one pound of marijuana. They had two loaded hand guns in their possession.
All three face charges of Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd degree, Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 4th degree, Criminal Possession of Marijuana 4th degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree. Those charged were Patrick Lloyd, 25, of Manhattan, Jevar Sturridge, 19, of Queens and Travis Moore, 23, also of Manhattan.
All three men were arraigned in Bombay Town Court and were remanded to Franklin County Jail without bail. The two hand guns seized had serial numbers defaced and were turned over to New York State Police Gun Unit for further investigation.
