Tribal Police Investigating Apparent Accidental Death

At approximately 9:00 a.m. Sunday July 29, 2012, Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police responded to a 911 emergency call at a residence at 149 Helena Road, Akwesasne, New York.
Preliminary investigation has revealed the apparent accidental death of 74 year old male, Percy Francis of Cornwall Island, Akwesasne, Ontario. Francis was transported to Massena Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased from injuries he sustained after a fall. The investigation continues pending the outcome of the autopsy.
