Tribe’s EOC Reports Zero New COVID-19 Cases: 15 Total Active
Jan 29, 2021
AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 and seven (7) of our relatives have safely resolved today. There are however, 15 total active cases under the Tribe’s jurisdiction and 57 of our family and friends remain in quarantine. We ask that you join in wishing them all a safe and healthy recovery.
The decrease in cases may be an indication that the expected holiday surge is in the past however, we urge everyone to please remain vigilant. The detection of several variants of the virus in the United States, which are more contagious, require us all to remain in our immediate household’s bubble. Equally important, is the continued need for everyone to wear a mask, maintain at least six feet from others in public places, and to wash our hands often for at least 20 seconds.
We will get through this together, but we need everyone to continue taking personal responsibility for their own actions today.
If you have a non-emergency matter, please call the Emergency Operations Center at (518) 320-0019; Monday-Friday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
