Environmental Assessment Determination Notification

AKWESASNE -- The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Environment Division is notifying community members that a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) has been issued for the Transitional Housing project, that had recently been available for public comment. The proposed site is located at 179 Country Route 43, near the SRMT Transfer Station. The Transitional Housing project, is the proposed construction of three housing units to be used by the SRMT emergency and crisis program to provide housing for tribal members. The completed environmental assessment is available to view under “Publications” on the Tribe’s website at www.srmt-nsn.gov.
