SRMT Enrichment Award Winner: Ella Fuller, Preventative Foster Care Program Manager

AKWESASNE – The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s (SRMT) Employee Enrichment Awards promote and recognize the contributions of our dedicated team members for their outstanding professionalism, collaboration, initiative, and integrity in serving the Akwesasne community.

On Friday, Ohiarihkó:wa/July 28, 2023; the Tribe was honored to recognize tribal employees for their contributions in announcing the 2023 Summer Enrichment Award Winners. A total of five (5) employees were recognized, including this week’s spotlight recipient Ella Fuller, SRMT Social Services Division Preventative/Foster Care Program Manager.

Ella is someone who naturally enriches the workplace with her leadership, positivity, and how she genuinely cares for others. As the Program Manager for the Tribe’s Preventive/Foster Care Program, her colleagues and others agree that she is the foundation of the program. They can attest that she is someone who cares deeply for her community, her clients, and her coworkers.

In being named an Enrichment Award Winner, Ella is commended for her outstanding leadership and willingness to step up to the plate when her program was experiencing a staff shortage during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Throughout this time period, she continually maintained her professionalism during the most stressful of moments. In doing so, her professional demeanor provided a calming effect on her colleagues.

Ella is also a wonderful ambassador for the overall Social Services Division, as her knowledge of the department’s services enables her to explain and promote them to clients, which has contributed to a high success rates for cases. Her sincere concern for client’s care does not stop at the office however, as she also helps spearhead community initiatives and activities, such as the Drive-in Night and Child Abuse Awareness Month, to name a few.

In addition to her clients, Ella also strives to ensure the wellbeing of her team members, as she always puts their individual health and safety first. She is no stranger to offering personal support, especially during times of crisis and goes out of her way to care for others.

Those who work alongside Ella say her positivity is contagious and note she always sees the bright side in every situation. It is her contagious positivity, selflessness, and leadership that has earned her the 2023 Summer Enrichment Award.
