SRMT Enrichment Award Winners: Jennifer Brown and Sara Gorrow CFS/TVR

AKWESASNE – The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s (SRMT) Employee Enrichment Awards promote and recognize the contributions of our dedicated team members for their outstanding professionalism, collaboration, initiative, and integrity in serving the Akwesasne community.

On Friday, Ohiarihkó:wa/July 28, 2023; the Tribe was honored to recognize tribal employees for their contributions in announcing the 2023 Summer Enrichment Award Winners. A total of five (5) employees were recognized, including this week’s spotlight recipients Jennifer Brown Community & Family Services Program Manager and Sara Gorrow Administrative Assistant from the Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Program.

Jennifer Brown and Sara Gorrow enrich the workplace in many ways, most notably being their positivity, willingness to help others and going above and beyond for their departments. Between the two of them, Jen and Sara have a combined twenty-five years of administrative experience. Their respective teams can attest to their dedication to providing excellence to the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe.

Their recognition as Enrichment Award winners stemmed from a joint collaboration between Jen and Sara addressing the absence of administrative training for new staff in the CFS/TVR suite. The joint effort between Jen and Sara provided a template and helpful systems for onboarded staff throughout the Tribe.

In addition to enhancing the onboarding process, both are commended for their expedient delivery of assistance and resources to staff in need. During events or Tribal initiatives, Jen and Sara are on the frontlines ready to serve the community of Akwesasne.

The dedication of staff like Jen and Sara to continually improve the workplace makes SRMT a worthwhile place to be, rightfully earning them both the Summer 2023 Enrichment Award.
