SUMMARY: The Content Producer is responsible for creating, managing, and delivering engaging multimedia content for the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe. Content is tailored for short- form video platforms, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Shorts, and YouTube Shorts. This role involves overseeing the entire content lifecycle from planning and production to distribution and performance analysis. The Content Producer will work closely with creative teams and various Tribal Programs to ensure content is optimized for various platforms, aligns with organizational goals, and effectively engages target audiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, produce, and edit high-quality short-form Tribal related content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Shorts, and YouTube Shorts.
- Work closely with other Tribal departments to ensure cohesive content strategies and cross-platform consistency.
- Tailor content to fit the unique style, length, and format requirements of each platform while maintaining alignment with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s brand voice and objectives.
- Collaborate with ATV team, Tribal Program Managers, and key organizational stakeholders to create content strategies and editorial calendars specifically for short-form video.
- Conduct research to identify trending topics within the Tribal organization and best practices for short-form video content to increase engagement and visibility.
- Manage the end-to-end production process for short-form video content, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with creative teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of content while adhering to platform-specific guidelines and quality standards.
- Implement platform-specific optimization techniques to enhance content performance, including hashtags, captions, and video descriptions.
- Analyze performance metrics for short-form content and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and reach.
- Provide creative direction for short-form video projects, including visual style, storytelling techniques, and technical execution.
- Review and approve content drafts to ensure they meet quality standards and effectively engage the target audience.
- Manage the use of multimedia equipment and software for short-form content production, including cameras, editing tools, and motion graphics.
- Oversee the distribution of short-form content across relevant platforms, ensuring content is optimized for each channel.
- Monitor audience feedback and interactions on short-form content to gauge effectiveness and engagement.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in short-form video production.
- Explore and implement new content formats and techniques to keep content fresh and engaging across various platforms.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: There are no supervisory duties for this position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Film or Media Studies, AND
- One (1) year of relevant working experience in the field.
OR
- Associate’s degree in Communications, Film or Media Studies, AND
- Two (2) years of working experience within a relevant field.
OR
- Equivalent combination of education in media and related studies and experience in Communications, Film, or related field.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong skills in video editing, including proficiency with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software. Knowledge of Smartphones with high-quality cameras (e.g., iPhone 14 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S23) for capturing quick, on-the-go content. Knowledge of DSLR/Mirrorless cameras (Canon EOS R, Sony A7S III, or Nikon Z series) for high-quality video production. Knowledge of platform-specific content strategies and best practices for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Shorts, and YouTube Shorts. Excellent creative and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with diverse teams and stakeholders. Experience with motion graphics, animations, and interactive content. Familiarity with social media analytics and performance tracking tools.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety ofconcrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be at least 18 years of age, have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract in accordance with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Fleet Policy.
