Summary: High School interns will be placed in various departments within the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe. Applicants will be under the supervision of the departments requesting interns and the Career Coordinator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Job placements will vary upon request from departments requesting High School Interns
- Attending program orientation
- Assisting supervisors with job-specific duties
- Adhere to Tribal and departmental policies
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Placements may be based on age, 14+, 16+, or 18+
Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisor requirements for this position.
Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The applicant must have a positive attitude, be energetic, self-motivated, open-minded and have a willingness to learn while on this placement. Education and/or Experience:
- Applicants must be 14 years of age and older at the time of application
- Applicants must be in grades 8-12
