Signage Promoting Illegal Activities Remains Prohibited

AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council is reminding individuals and vendors that, pursuant to Tribal Council Resolution 2021-14, that the promotion of illegal activities continues to be prohibited under the Tribe’s jurisdiction. This is inclusive of publications, billboards, banners, or other advertisements for activities or products that are not legal under tribal law, which includes those that are not tribally licensed or regulated. Upon receiving notification of prohibited signage by the Compliance Department, the sign’s owner shall be responsible for its removal within thirty (30) days.
