SRMT Enrichment Winner - Ashley Brown, Procurement

AKWESASNE – The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s (SRMT) Employee Enrichment Awards promote and recognize the contributions of our dedicated team members for their outstanding professionalism, collaboration, initiative and integrity as they serve the Akwesasne community.

On Friday, Ohiarihkó:wa/July 28, 2023, a Staff Appreciation Beach Day was held to honor SRMT staff for their contributions and announce the 2023 Summer Enrichment Award Winners. A total of five (5) awards were given, with this week’s spotlight going to Ashley Brown.

Ashley enriches the workplace with her kindness, professionalism, and dedication to her job.

Ashley is a kind individual to work alongside and makes the work environment a fun place to be. She brings her infectious happy attitude wherever she goes and never lets negativity follow her to work. Everyone can count on her to provide a helping hand when needed.

She excels at following procedures and policies and offers her expertise to others when purchasing items for their programs. Ashley’s other notable characteristics are efficiency and professionalism, both of which have created positive business relations with the Tribe’s vendors.

An impressive feat that earned her the Summer 2023 Enrichment Award is the sacrifices she makes to ensure the success of food distribution events. Ashley was just a few days out from vacation, with her sights set on a well-deserved rest. When she learned that the food order wasn’t going to ship until the day after the scheduled event, Ashley worked around the clock to make sure the large food order arrived complete and on time.

Her dedication and determination make her a wonderful employee and coworker. We thank and recognize Ashley for her efforts in making the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe a wonderful place to work.
