Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe and Mohawk Assembly of God to Distribute 1,026 Boxes of Free Food to Community

Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe and Mohawk Assembly of God are pleased to announce a Free Food Distribution for all community members. A total of 1,026 boxes of food will be distributed from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the former-IGA Building.

Food boxes are approximately 30 to 40lbs each, and contain fresh fruit, vegetables, milk and other perishable items.

Community members may pick up their food boxes in accordance with the following requirements:

  • All traffic must use the main entrance to the former-IGA Building at the traffic light located across from the casino’s main entrance;
  • Individuals must bring a Tribal Identification Card, Band Card or Nation Red Card;
  • Must wear a mask while picking up and must remain in vehicle; and
  • Must respect social distancing and your patience is appreciated.

If necessary, there is a tentative date of Thursday, October 22, 2020 to distribute any remaining food boxes. This will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or until all is distributed, at the former-IGA Building. Signage will be posted to direct traffic on that day.

This food distribution is sponsored by Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe and Mohawk Assembly of God Church, in collaboration with the NY AG Ministry Network, Convoy of Hope, Farm2Table, Produce Alliance and CityServe International.
