SUMMARY:  Reporting to the ATV Manager/Executive Producer (EP) by keeping them informed of key aspects of the daily production flow and addressing any issues or updates that require their attention. They will oversee the day-to-day logistical and administrative aspects of audio/visual film production for the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Ensures all assigned production processes run smoothly, from pre-production to post-production.
  • Collaborates with various Tribal departments, including production, to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure that the ATV Manager/Executive Producer (EP) is kept up to date of key aspects of the daily production flow.
  • Addressing any issues or updates that require attention within Akwesasne TV operations.
  • Develop and maintain production outlines and schedules to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Oversee day-to-day production activities and manage production timelines efficiently.
  • Serves as a point of contact for production-related matters within the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe.
  • Collaborate with other producers, the EP, and other key stakeholders within the SRMT organization to align on project goals and requirements.
  • Organize and lead production meetings and briefings.
  • Handle the booking of locations, talent, and equipment.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of production materials, such as scripts, schedules, and call sheets.
  • Collaborate with the EP to monitor production processes to ensure adherence to the project's vision and quality standards.
  • Address and resolve any issues or delays that arise during production.
  • Oversee the transition from production to post-production, ensuring a smooth handoff.
  • Coordinate with editors and post-production teams to ensure timely delivery of final content.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all team members and Tribal partners.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to the Executive Producer. 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Fast-paced production environment with occasional irregular hours.
  • May require travel to various locations for shoots. 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: There are no supervisory duties for this position.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Film, Television Production, Media Management or related field AND
  • Three (3) years’ experience in a similar position; 

OR 

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience related to media production. 

 

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 

Possession of a valid State Driver License in accordance with Fleet Policy. 

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract in accordance with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Fleet Policy.
