Title: Entrance Roadway Project, Business Park Road for Center of Excellence for Diabetes Care and Prevention, Akwesasne, New York

The Owner will receive separate sealed BIDS for the Roadway Project for the Center for Excellence for Diabetes Care located at Saint Regis Mohawk Business Park Road, Akwesasne, NY, work includes, but is not limited, to facility water distribution piping, facility sanitary sewers, site clearing, earth moving, turf and grasses and storm utility drainage piping. Bids will be received by the Owner at the office of Grants & Contracts, Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, 2nd Floor Community Building, 412 State Route 37, Akwesasne, New York 13655 until 3:30 p.m., (local time), October 14, 2011, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. A pre-bid meeting will be held on September 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. (local time). The pre-bid meeting shall take place at St. Regis Mohawk Tribe, Community Building, 2nd Floor, 412 State Route 37, Akwesasne, New York. The Owner will not reimburse any bidder for expenses to attend this meeting. Copies of the BID DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the office of Grants & Contract located at 412 State Route 37, Akwesasne, New York, upon deposit of $25.00, (in the form of cash, certified check or money order) for each set (non-refundable). Checks and money orders are to be made out to the “Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe”. Bid security is a mandatory requirement of this call. Preference in the award of the Contract shall be given to Indian and Alaskan Native organizations and economic enterprises. Any contractor claiming Indian Preference shall give evidence, as required by the Owner, to support this at least one week prior to bid opening. All preferences shall be announced prior to the bid opening.

THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT ANY BID, WHETHER IT IS THE LOWEST OR NOT, OR MAY REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS.
