Tribe to Provide Fall 2014 Fuel Assistance

The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council has approved the distribution of an additional allotment of heating assistance to Tribal members who are already participating in the 2014 tribal fuel assistance program and continue to meet all the criteria. The fall heating assistance applies to deliveries from now until December 1, 2014.
Members who are 55 years of age or older have been allotted $600. All other applicants who received an allocation from the January 2014 program will receive $250. No new applications will be accepted for the fall allotment.
Tribal members should contact their heating supplier to confirm their participation and, if needed, order home heating fuel to be delivered by December 1, 2014. Should individuals have any questions, they may contact the SRMT Compliance Department at (518) 358–2272.
