Akwesasne, NY -The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe is notifying community members that it is in the process of upgrading its telephone system. The transition from the previous system to the newer system is expected to be completed by the end of today. During this time, individuals will not be able to utilize the Tribe’s main telephone number of 518-358-2272. Instead, individuals that need to contact a tribal program or service are asked to utilize the number 518-358-6157 until further notice.
