Tribal Council Donates Winter Jackets to Akwesasne Youth

AKWESASNE – The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council was proud to begin its annual distribution of winter jackets on Tuesday, Kentenhkó:wa/November 22, 2016 to Akwesasne youth. Now in its sixth year, this year's donation from the Tribal General Fund's Community Support will help youth that are in need of a winter jacket or snowsuit to receive a brand new one. During the next several weeks, Tribal Council will be personally delivering jackets to local schools, as well as to private-run day care centers.
