AKWESASNE – In accordance with the Tribal Procedures Act, adopted by referendum on Ohiarí:ha/June 1, 2013; the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe has taken steps to ensure that financial accountability continues to be provided to tribal membership. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, arrangements have been made to provide an online presentation of the Mid-Year Annual Tribal Budget. The online presentation is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 20th; which will be accessible by a link located on the Tribal Members Portal.
To access the portal, please visit the Tribe’s website at www.srmt-nsn.gov and click on “Tribal Members” located in the top right corner. Follow the instructions provided to login, which includes using your name as it appears on your tribal identification card, without punctuations or spaces. Your password is “srmt” followed by your six-digit enrollment number. A video tutorial is provided for assistance at https://youtu.be/z7kJUsoSzLo.
A copy of the Mid-Year Annual Tribal Budget will be available on the Tribal Members Portal beginning tomorrow, Friday, August 14th ; as well as available for pickup at the main reception desk for the Ionkwakiohkwaróron Tribal Administration Building, located at 71 Margaret Terrance Memorial Way in Akwesasne.
All tribal members are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the live presentation and to pose budget-related questions during the event.
The Mid-Year Annual Tribal Budget Report will be recorded and made available on the Tribal Members Portal following the August 20th presentation.
