Amended Medical Marijuana Ordinance Comment Period Open

AKWESASNE -- The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe announced that a 30-day comment period is now open for the Amended Medical Marijuana Ordinance. The amended ordinance revises the 2019 Ordinance to incorporate changes to New York State’s 2021 Cannabis Law that improved various aspects of our original law and also made it compatible with the Tribe’s Adult Use Cannabis Ordinance.
The 30-day comment period concludes on Friday, November 12th.
To view a copy of the Amended Medical Marijuana Ordinance, please access the Tribal Members Portal located on the Tribe’s website at www.srmt-nsn.gov. Click on “Medical Marijuana Ordinance” drop down menu located under “Tribal Referendums & Opinion Polls”.

All comments must be submitted in writing by November 12th by emailing public.comment@srmt-nsn.gov.
