AKWESASNE — Pursuant to the tribal referendum approved by membership on December 14, 2019; the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe has taken steps to legalize adult use (recreational) marijuana under the Tribe’s jurisdiction. A draft ordinance has been developed and will be presented at three public meetings for tribal members to provide input and feedback.
Three ZOOM meetings will be held with membership on April 22nd, April 29th, and May 6th at 5:00 p.m. A link to participate in the virtual meetings will be available on the Tribal Members Portal located on the Tribe’s website at www.srmt-nsn.gov.
