Tribe's EOC Reports 0 New COVID-19 Cases: 2 Total Active

AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is reporting zero (0) new case of COVID-19 — making 2 total active cases under the Tribe’s jurisdiction. One (1) community member has been released from isolation or quarantine, while four (4) family members and friends remain in quarantine at home. Zero (0) relatives are currently hospitalized. We wish them and everyone who continues to be affected by the virus a safe, and complication-free recovery.

The COVID-19 vaccination clinic being held at the former-IGA building on Thursday, March 18 will be open to all residents of Akwesasne living on the northern and southern portions of the community who are 18 years of age or older. (Individuals awaiting COVID-19 test results cannot receive the vaccine.)

The open vaccination clinic will be run on a first come first served basis, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until supplies last. Future open clinics will be announced at a later date. For more information regarding the COVID-19 vaccination clinic, please call SRMT Health Services at (518) 333-0230.
