Tribe’s EOC Reports 3 New COVID-19 Cases: 62 Quarantined

AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is reporting three (3) new cases of COVID-19 today, making 22 total active cases under the Tribe’s jurisdiction. We are glad that four (4) of our relatives have successfully resolved since yesterday however, 62 of our family members and friends remain in quarantine. We continue to wish them all a safe recovery.

We urge those who have received quarantine or isolation orders to please remain at home until you are officially released by a public health official. Please DO NOT travel in the community and place other people’s health at risk. If you are under the Tribe’s jurisdiction and require food or other essential items, please call the Tribe’s Office of the Family Advocate at (518) 358-3021.

As we enter the weekend, we urge everyone to please remain vigilant and continue wearing a mask, social distance, wash your hands, and stay in your immediate household’s bubble. Please follow all the protective measures that are continuing to be recommend by the EOC and public health agencies.
