Tribe’s EOC Reports Zero New COVID-19 Cases: 56 Quarantined

AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 today, which is the first time that no relative has tested positive since January 12th. There are however, 18 total active cases under the Tribe’s jurisdiction, with 56 of our family members and friends in quarantine. Two community members have resolved overnight.
The EOC is reminding anyone currently in quarantine that may require emergency food supplies or other essential items to please contact the Tribe’s Office of the Family Advocate at (518) 358-3021. More COVID-19 community drive-thru test collection clinics will be held each Tuesday in February at the former-IGA Building beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., or while test supplies last.
