Higher Ground Becomes 11th Tribal Licensed Cannabis Dispensary

AKWESASNE -- The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council lent their support and provided wishes for much success to Higher Ground during a ribbon cutting event that was held this morning at 300 State Route 37 in Akwesasne, NY. Higher Ground became the 11th tribally licensed cannabis retail operation that has chosen to support community programs and services through the regulated sale of cannabis products. Joining in the ribbon cutting were (from left): Tribal Chief Ron LaFrance, Tribal Chief Michael Conners, Jimmy Jack, Seven Green, Myles Delormier, Dallas Delormier (owner), Trysten Thompson, Shaylee Thompson, Quayd Bingham, Tribal Chief Beverly Cook, and Tribal Sub-Chief Benjamin Herne.

Higher Ground joins the following retail businesses that have received a tribal license from the SRMT Cannabis Control Board since April 14th: Budders Cannabis Store LLC (508 State Route 37); King Canna (8 Raquette Point Road); Weedway (935 State Route 37); Dank Bank (25 Water Street, Fort Covington); Not Another Pot Store (76 Beaver Meadow Road); Diamond Dispensary (147A Raquette Point Road); Exotika Dispensary (227 State Route 37); Prime Cannabis (1600 State Route 37); Sovereign Retail (8 State Route 37, Suite 1); and Green Reserve Dispensary (484 State Route 37).
