SRMT Gaming Ordinance Amendments Comment Period

AKWESASNE —The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe announces proposed changes to the Tribe’s Gaming Ordinance and is publishing it for a 30-day community comment period that ends Enniskó:wa/March 15, 2022. It is now available for community viewing on the Tribal Members Portal, under “Tribal Laws, Ordinances, and Regulations.”

Along with the Tribal Members Portal, a copy of the Tribe’s Gaming Ordinance is available upon request from the Tribal Clerk’s Office, Office of the General Counsel, or the main reception desk at the Ionkwakiohkwaronon Tribal Administration Building.

Once written comments have been reviewed, the final version of the Tribe’s Gaming Ordinance will be posted once more for tribal members to review, prior to the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council signing the code into law by tribal council resolution.
