Akwesasne-(Kentenhkó:wa 12, 2025)The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe is pleased to announce that a Community Food Box Distribution will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Ionkwakiohkwaró:ron Tribal Administration Building.
This initiative reflects our shared values of generosity, unity, and collective responsibility. As families continue to face rising food costs and uncertainties with federal programs such as SNAP and HEAP/LIHEAP, the Tribe remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting households and ensuring that no community member goes without the essentials of food and warmth.
Distribution Schedule – November 22
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Reserved for Elders (age 62+) and EBT SNAP recipients
Required: Tribal ID and EBT card or benefit confirmation.
11:00 AM – until all boxes are distributed
Open to all Tribal community members
Required: Tribal ID, Status Card, or Red Card.
To ensure fairness and adequate supply, a maximum of two (2) households per vehicle will be permitted.
Participants are asked to arrive with the appropriate documentation and to follow staff directions for an efficient and respectful distribution process.
Traffic Flow
The distribution line will begin at Route 37 and McGee Road and proceed toward the Tribal Administration Building on Margaret Terrance Memorial Way.
