The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe would like to inform the community of important upcoming changes to the REAL ID Act and a new program called TSA ConfirmID.
Effective February 1, 2026. The TSA ConfirmID Program will begin.
Photo identification cards issued by a federally recognized Tribal Nation/Indian Tribe, including Enhanced Tribal Cards, will continue to be accepted as valid identification for air travel.
No REAL ID or Tribal ID?
Passengers without an acceptable form of identification who still wish to fly may use the TSA ConfirmID Program for a $45 identity verification fee.
Tribal Members who present a Tribal ID will NOT be required to pay this fee.
