On March 4th at 6:00 p.m. at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort Winter Room, members of the New York State Education Department will be joining us for a community conversation on ways to strengthen school-community partnerships and affirm our support for all students in the Salmon River School District and the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe.
This engaging session will provide information about parent advocacy regarding the special education process and laws and regulations regarding behavioral interventions and supports. Members of the Office of Special Education, Office of Indigenous Education, and Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will be in attendance to provide support and answer questions.
