Summary:
The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Compliance Stamp Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cigarette stamping equipment in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. The incumbent performs product handling, quality control inspections, inventory tracking, shipping, and receiving support, and routine machine operations. This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds. The operator must maintain accurate records, ensure product accountability, adhere to safety standards, and work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate stamping machines safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures.
- Receive, process, and account for products to ensure accurate inventory control and customer fulfillment.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality and compliance with established standards.
- Load materials into machines and remove finished products from production lines.
- Inspect products and packaging materials; separate and remove defective items when necessary.
- Regulate machine settings, conveyor flow, and production speeds as required.
- Stop, reset, and clear machine jams and promptly report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Package, tape, and label finished products according to departmental policies and quality standards.
- Count, stack, and palletize products and apply appropriate lot number labels.
- Operate pallet jacks safely to transport products within the shipping, receiving, and production areas.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of packaging and operational supplies, including boxes, labels, tape, wrapping materials, and related items.
- Complete required reports and production documentation accurately and timely.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Flip cigarette packs and perform hand-stamping operations using approved equipment when required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary, customer, and Tribal information.
- Work cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors to support department operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisor requirements for this position.

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or (GED) and
- 2 years’ work experience, as Laborer, Machine Operator, Warehousing.
