Annual Tribal Budget Presentation to Tribal Membership for Fiscal Year 2026

AKWESASNE – (Kentenhkó:wa/November 5, 2025) In accordance with the Tribal Procedures Act, adopted by Tribal referendum on Ohiarí:ha/June 1, 2013, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe is holding a public meeting on Wednesday, Kentenhkó:wa/November 19th, at 4:00 p.m. to present the Draft Fiscal Year 2026 Annual Tribal Budget to membership. Tribal members interested in attending can do so in-person at the Ionkwakiohkwaró:ron Tribal Administration Building or virtually using Zoom.
 

Tribal members who want to join virtually must register before 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Kentenhkó:wa/November 18th by clicking on the following link: https://bit.ly/4nBcXhv. Registration is required to verify Tribal enrollment since the budget presentation is intended only for Tribal members. Tribal members can obtain a summary of the draft budget on the morning of Kentenhkó:wa/November 19th through the Tribal Member’s Portal. A copy of the budget summary can also be requested at the Ionkwakiohkwaróron Tribal Administration Building’s main reception desk.
 

Following the presentation, Tribal members will have a 15-day comment period, concluding Thursday, December 4th. Comments can be emailed to public.comment@srmt-nsn.gov or mailed or delivered to:

Following receipt of any written comments, the Tribe may hold a second meeting to provide responses prior to its acceptance by Tribal Council Resolution.
