The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s (“SRMT”) Election Board have been receiving several concerns about the wording of the question for Recall.
“Based on the Ethics Commission’s finding that Sub-Chief Derrick King violated the Ethics Ordinance, are you in favor of removing him from his current position as Sub-Chief?” Yes [ ] No [ ]
When voting please consider the following:
If you vote YES to remove Sub-Chief King, it means he will be REMOVED from his elected position, pending any appeals.
If you vote NO to remove Sub-Chief King, he will REMAIN in the Sub-Chief position, pending any appeals.
