Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Now Accepting Applications for Flood Recovery & Readiness Assistance ICDBG-Imminent Threat Funded Program

Where you impacted by Tropical Storm Debby

Have you been affected by Tropical Storm Debby? The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe (SRMT) is now offering free assistance through the ICDBG-Imminent Threat (ICDBG-IT) Grant for tribal members impacted by the storm. This funding is designed to support recovery and help households become more resilient against future flooding.

Qualified applicants may be eligible for:

  • Emergency Home Repairs for damages caused by Tropical Storm Debby
  • Mold Remediation and Sanitation services
  • Flood Resilience Upgrades such as sump pumps and backflow valves
  • Flood Readiness Kits
  • Elevation and Site Improvements to protect homes from future threats

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Homes must have been damaged by Tropical Storm Debby
  • Must be a Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal member
  • Must reside within SRMT jurisdiction
  • Both homeowners and renters are eligible
  • Household income must be at or below 80% of the area median income

Please note: Individuals are not eligible if they have already received full funding for the same disaster-related repairs or improvements from FEMA, Tribal, State, or other government or charitable sources.
