On May 22, 2026, the SRMT Environment Division will be hosting their second household hazardous waste collection event!
Bring your household hazardous waste and old electronics to the Transfer Station from 10 AM – 2 PM for safe, secure disposal. Let’s keep our community clean and healthy!
What you can bring:
Stains, adhesives, aerosols, household cleaners, bleach, used motor oil, pesticides, herbicides, acetone, pool chemicals, batteries, and more.
We will also offer secure disposal of electronic devices, including phones, computers, laptops, and hard drives.
Please note: We will NOT be accepting cans of liquid paint. We encourage community members to take paint to stores like Sherwin-Williams in Massena or Malone, where proper recycling programs are available and free!
