AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council announced that the Tribal Monthly Meeting that was scheduled for Saturday, Kentenhkó:wa/November 6, 2021 has been canceled. The decision to cancel the meeting is out of respect for the recent passing of numerous community members during the past week, including former-Tribal Chief Paul O. Thompson.
The next Monthly Tribal Meeting will take place on Saturday, Tsiothóhrha/December 11th. Chief Ron Lafrance, Jr. will chair the December Tribal Meeting. The registration link and agenda topics will be shared in a future announcement.
Tribal members are asked to submit any questions or comments for the December Tribal Monthly Meeting by emailing them to meetings@srmt-nsn.gov. All questions will be posed and answered in the order that they are received.
