AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council announced that registration is now open for the Tribal Monthly Meeting being held on Saturday, Kentenhkó:wa/November 6, 2021. The registration process allows the Tribal Clerk’s Office to verify tribal enrollment, as monthly tribal meetings are intended for membership only.
The November 6th Tribal Meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. and is being chaired by Tribal Chief Ron Lafrance, Jr. Due to ongoing COVID-19 cases, it will be a virtual meeting that requires advance registration. Please register before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5th by clicking on the following link: https://bit.ly/3bsQqB5.
The November 6th Tribal Monthly Meeting will include an update on last month’s action items, New Business; followed by presentations on the Tribe’s Building Codes and Permits by the Compliance Department, Buy Local Campaign by the Economic Development Department, and an update on Tribal EMS Services, as well as a COVID-19 Update by Emergency Operations Center and Health Services.
Tribal members are asked to submit any questions or comments for the November Tribal Monthly Meeting during the registration process or by emailing them to meetings@srmt-nsn.gov. All questions will be posed and answered in the order that they are received.
