Akwesasne, NY – (Kenténha/October 30, 2026) The Cannabis Control Office (“CCO”) wishes to inform the community that the following cannabis businesses have successfully had their Tribal Licenses reinstated after completing the necessary corrective actions and meeting the outstanding compliance requirements established by the CCO.
The following businesses have had their tribal cannabis licenses reinstated:
- Top Shelf – 2022-024-CCB – 2566 Chateaugay St. Fort Covington, NY 12937
- Cannabis Island -2024-004-CCB – 1622 State Rt. 37 Akwesasne, NY 13655
The reinstatement of these licenses reflects the businesses' efforts to address identified compliance concerns and meet the requirements established under The Tribal Adult Use Cannabis Ordinance, and all applicable regulations.
The Cannabis Control Office remains committed to ensuring that all licensed cannabis businesses operate in accordance with the laws and regulations established by the Tribe. We appreciate the community's continued cooperation and support as we work to maintain a safe, responsible, and regulated cannabis industry within our territory.
