Akwesasne, NY – (Kentenhkó:wa/November 2, 2026) The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s (“SRMT’) Election Board Appeal Panel has received an appeal regarding the Tribal Recall Election and Referendum held on Saturday, Kenténha/October 24, 2026.
The appeal concerns whether adequate notice was provided to the Community regarding the Recall Election and Referendum. The Appeal Panel will review the appeal in accordance with the applicable procedures and provide an update once the matter has been resolved.
