The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is reporting four (4) new cases of COVID-19 today, making fifty-two (52) total active cases under the Tribe’s jurisdiction. Four (4) of our relatives have resolved and sixty (60) of our family and friends remain in quarantine. Three (3) of our relatives remain hospitalized, recovering from severe symptoms. One (1) active case has been transferred to MCA jurisdiction. Our thoughts are with all affected by the virus, and we send well-wishes to our community.
Please continue to social distance and remain supportive of those who have contracted COVID-19. Avoid crowded or indoor settings, and if you can’t, remember to avoid the 3 C’s: spaces that are Crowded, Closed, or involve Close Contact. Make wearing a mask a normal part of essential outings. The appropriate use, storage and cleaning or disposal are essential to make masks as effective as possible.
