Tribe's EOC Reports Zero New COVID-19 Cases: 5 Total Active

AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is reporting zero (0) new case of COVID-19 — making 5 total active cases under the Tribe’s jurisdiction. Three (3) community members have been released from isolation or quarantine, while ten (10) family members and friends remain in quarantine at home. Zero (0) additional relatives have been hospitalized — making one (1) community member who is in the hospital recovering from severe symptoms. We wish them and everyone who continues to be affected by the virus a safe, and complication-free recovery.

The next vaccination clinic is available by appointment-only. To pre-register, please call (518) 333-0230. Do not assume you are scheduled until you talk to someone directly. (Individuals awaiting COVID-19 test results cannot receive the vaccine.)

As a reminder, any travel outside the territory should be for essential purposes. Based on Health Service recommendations, SRMT continues to advise of a 300-mile radius travel limit, excluding COVID hotspots. Anyone traveling outside of the 300-mile travel radius, including students, are required to quarantine for 10 days regardless of vaccination status.
