Trolls Spread Cheer at J. W. Leary Junior High School

Trolls

Students at the J. W. Leary Junior High School created trolls out of recycled materials, inspired by artist Thomas Dambo. Acting as "guardians" of their space, the trolls sit proudly in the halls and classrooms at J. W. Leary providing inspiration to the students and reinforcing good behavior. The Massena school's latest art installation was led by art teachers Taylor Francis and Nicole Ashley with the help of over 170 students. After their recent art show, two of the trolls were sent to the Massena library, where they are currently on display.

To see the original troll installation, the Wild Center in Tupper Lake is displaying the six trolls created by Thomas Dambo until October 31st. Entry to the Wild Center is free for Tribal members with a valid Tribal ID card.

Please join us in applauding the creativity and positivity spread by the teachers and students at J. W. Leary!
