Water conservation

The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Water Treatment team is asking all community members to conserve water immediately due to the ongoing drought.

Please:

  • Turn off all sprinklers and hoses for the next couple of days.
    • This will allow our treatment plant to catch up on water production and keep our storage tank at a safe level.

The plant has been running near maximum capacity for the past week and has been unable to meet current demand. If you or a neighbor are using a sprinkler to water the lawn, kindly turn off or remind them to conserve.

Need help turning off your water?

If you’re at work and unable to turn off your hose, call the Planning & Infrastructure Office at 518-358-4205. Provide your address, and an associate can assist.

Thank you for helping protect our community’s water supply.
