SRMT Native Plant Nursery & Agriculture Program invites seed keepers, gardeners, and wild seed collectors to join them for Akwesasne's 5th Annual Seed Exchange, Saturday, February 28th, from 10 AM-1 PM at the Akwesasne Seed Hub, 1636 NY-37.
All are welcome, whether you are a seasoned grower with seeds to share or just starting out and are willing to learn. Programming includes featured guest speakers: Steve McComber on Planting with the Moon, and Tayohseron:tye on Corn Pollination.
Participants are encouraged to join in an open circle discussion highlighting local people/organization successes and challenges in seed keeping, before enjoying a provided lunch and exchanging seeds.
