AKWESASNE, NY – (Seskéha | August 24, 2026) The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Cannabis Control Office is notifying the community of the results of July 2026 testing conducted in accordance with our Adult Use Cannabis Ordinance for cannabis product testing. Of the twenty-six (26) samples tested, twenty-one (21) products have PASSED all limits set forth for contaminants. Five (5) cannabis products tested positive in the Pesticide category of contaminants.
We are pleased with all the businesses who participated in the testing during this round and applaud their commitment to the safety of the community. They are as follows:

We have worked with the specific businesses to ensure contaminated products are removed from the shelves, so not to be made available for consumption.
Many of these products can be found in several of Akwesasne’s cannabis businesses, therefore, it is advised that the public be responsible and shop with care when choosing products from businesses that do not participate in regulated licensed laboratory testing and are transparent in making results public knowledge.
